Sunday June 7, 2009 - 9th Annual Children's Festival
It's that time of year again! The Ninth year in a row with one day dedicated to Children. Guest groups include Cracovia from London,
Potok from Brantford, and Polonez from Cambridge. Come and bring the family to a wonderful day filled with delicious homemade Traditional
Polish Food, a colourful display of Polish Culture, facepainting, and of course, games with prizes for children!
Future Plans
The Kujawiacy Polish Song and Dance Ensemble has performed internationally and is planning to perform internationally in the future.
The International Folkore Festival takes place every three years in Rzeszow, Poland. Kujawiacy took part in this festival in 1999, and was one of the youngest groups in attendance. Kujawiacy showed enthusiasm as they danced on stage for the thousands in the crowd. At this festival nearly thirty groups participated, coming from all over the world to share their Polish, as well as home cultures on the International stage.
